Senior Specialist Occupational Therapist

Transform Lives with Neurorehabilitation Expertise

Merco Medical Staffing Limited seeks an experienced Senior Specialist Occupational Therapist to lead a dynamic team in delivering exceptional neurorehabilitation services. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in helping service users regain essential skills and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Inspire: Manage occupational therapy services using the BIRT Neurobehavioral model, guiding a team of professionals to deliver holistic care.
  • Transform Care: Develop, assess, and implement personalized treatment plans for individuals with complex neurological conditions, ensuring seamless collaboration with service users, families, and other professionals.
  • Mentor and Champion Quality: Provide guidance to rehabilitation support workers, overseeing task delegation, monitoring, and care plan evaluations, while maintaining professional documentation in line with RCOT standards and contributing to clinical governance and service innovation.
About You

We're looking for a compassionate and driven leader with:

  • Qualifications: Diploma/BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy, registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience: Extensive experience in neurological rehabilitation with a proven ability to manage complex cases.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to work autonomously while guiding a team of professionals.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to delivering patient-centred care.
