Sales Role for Events Sector

We are seeking an experienced Delegate Sales Executive to join our team and take on the challenge of selling delegate passes to high-profile conferences, promoting awards programmes, and securing awards tables for shortlisted finalists.

This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your sales and marketing expertise in the events sector and drive revenue growth for our client. As a key member of the sales department, you will be responsible for generating leads, converting them into sales opportunities, and hitting daily and monthly KPIs and targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and convert leads into sales opportunities
  • Sell delegate passes to conferences within the Governance, Risk and Compliance sector
  • Meet daily and monthly KPIs and targets
  • Broaden your understanding of the market, product value proposition, and customer profile
  • Collaborate with the Conference Producer to refine outreach templates and pitches

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in delegate/table sales within the events industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a Sales CRM (SalesForce, MS Dynamics, or similar)
  • Ambitious, results-driven, and naturally motivated individual
  • Curious and eager to learn about the brand, sector, and product
  • Confident and enthusiastic about telephone sales
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

About the Job:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing, with prior experience in delegate/table sales within the events industry. They will be confident and enthusiastic about telephone sales, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The successful candidate will also have proficiency in Microsoft Office and a Sales CRM (SalesForce, MS Dynamics, or similar).

What We Offer:

We offer a comprehensive salary package, including a basic salary of £30,000 - £32,000 per annum, ongoing target earnings (OTE) of up to £16,000 per annum, and a hybrid working arrangement.
