Job Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to take on a key role in our Department, providing clinical leadership and supporting current and future service developments.

Main Duties:

  1. Provide clinical leadership to your own team and those within The Working Age Adult Acute Directorate.
  2. Work in accordance with our people-first approach, leading by example and ensuring the highest level of clinical standards.
  3. Support the team to create an environment where patients' cultures, life experiences, and strengths are acknowledged and utilized to promote recovery.

Requirements:

  1. MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
  2. Fully registered with GMC with a license.
  3. Approved clinician status.
  4. Excellent knowledge of the speciality.
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  6. Ability to meet duties under MHA and MCA.
  7. Ability to work in and lead a team.
