Production Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Operative to join our team at STERIS. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective manufacture of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Operate production machinery to manufacture products across a range of machinery, including cartoning, guillotines, flow wrapping, and label printing.
- Perform and document product inspection to ensure quality standards are met.
- Carry out manual packing and boxing activities, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Use mechanical aids such as manual and powered pallet trucks safely and efficiently.
- Understand and adhere to the organization's Quality Assurance systems and take responsibility for updating processes as needed.
- Undertake training and personal development to enable competent performance of all relevant tasks.
- Deputize for the supervisor when requested and provide support across production departments as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, and/or 1 year's experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work within health and safety guidelines.
- Ability to operate machinery once trained and perform repetitive tasks at pace to achieve targets.
- Ability to read, understand, and complete quality documentation.
