Production Associate

STERIS is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Operative to join our team in Syston, Leicester. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective manufacture of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Operate production machinery to manufacture a range of products, including cartoning, guillotines, flow wrapping, and labeling.
- Perform manual packing and boxing activities, as well as product inspection and documentation.
- Contribute to a clean and organized work environment through 6S practices.
- Use mechanical aids safely and effectively, including manual and powered pallet trucks.
- Understand and adhere to the organization's Quality Assurance systems and take responsibility for updating processes as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work within health and safety guidelines.
- Ability to operate machinery once trained and perform repetitive tasks at pace.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a customer-focused approach.
