Production Associate

STERIS is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Operative to join our team in Syston, Leicester. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective manufacture of our products, adhering to high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Operate production machinery to manufacture a range of products, including cartoning, guillotines, flow wrapping, and labeling.
- Perform manual packing and boxing activities, as well as product inspection and documentation.
- Contribute to a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 6S principles and health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production targets and support the team in achieving business objectives.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge, and take on additional responsibilities as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read, understand, and complete quality documentation.
- Initiative and proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
