Ackerman Pierce is seeking an experienced and qualified professional to join our team as a KS4 SEN Outreach Tutor. This role involves delivering personalized tuition to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a community setting.

About the Role
We are recruiting a Secondary Math's and English Outreach Tutor to provide face-to-face support to SEND Students who require alternative provision due to their unique needs. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing tailored educational plans to meet the individual needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and support to SEND students.
  • Develop and implement effective educational plans to meet the needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with local authorities and schools to ensure seamless support for students.

Requirements:
  • Background in teaching English, Maths, or SEN classes from KS1-KS5.
  • QTS status (or equivalent) or unqualified with two years' experience teaching NC core subjects.
  • Experience working with ASD/EBD/SEMH and associated complex needs.
  • Two years of previous experience working within a UK school.

Estimated Salary:
£40,000 - £50,000 per annum (based on 30 hours per week)
