Job Overview:
The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is seeking a compassionate and skilled Care Support Specialist to join their team. As a Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals living in their own homes in the community with disabilities and/or additional support needs.

About the Role:
You will cover shifts to ensure continued high-quality, person-centred care and support during times of annual leave, training, or sickness. This may involve assisting with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, medication management, accompanying individuals to appointments and activities, managing personal finances, and supporting with personal care. Additionally, you will provide emotional support and assist individuals to maintain relationships with family and friends.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need confidence in using computers and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work flexibly. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are required due to the nature of the role.

What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of approximately £23,000 per annum, paid travel during shifts, and 45p per mile fuel allowance. Continuous in-house training opportunities and chances to further your career in social care are also available. Our Refer a Friend scheme rewards successful referrals with £150.
