About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Information Security to join our team at Flatirons Solutions, Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our information and cyber security strategies, policies, and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop, implement, and lead the information security practice, providing direction on all cyber security initiatives.
  2. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate information security risks across the organization.
  3. Security Architecture: Design and implement security architecture for IT systems, networks, and applications, ensuring robust protection against cyber threats.
  4. Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with global security regulations, including data privacy laws and aerospace-specific standards.
  5. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with engineering, IT, legal, and other departments to ensure security is embedded in all projects and operations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in information security, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in information security, with 3 years' experience in risk management, incident response, and security architecture.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, and AWS Security Specialty are a plus.
