Cyber Security System Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security System Engineer to join our team at Porterbrook Leasing Company Limited. As a key member of our Fleet function, you will play a critical role in managing the fleet cyber security strategy and ensuring the protection of our assets.
Key Responsibilities- Cyber Security Strategy Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive cyber security strategy for our fleet, aligned with industry standards and best practices.
- Cyber Security Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential cyber threats to our assets.
- Cyber Security Awareness: Promote cyber security best practices throughout our engineering teams and ensure that all personnel are aware of the importance of cyber security.
- Supplier/Product Assessment: Evaluate new technologies and products to ensure they meet our cyber security requirements and standards.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with our customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure that cyber security requirements are met and that our assets are protected.
- Qualifications: Engineering or IT-related degree and knowledge of Chief Information Security Officer responsibilities.
- Experience: Proven experience in cyber security, with a strong understanding of digital technology and rail-related cyber security.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
