Your Role as a Nursery Practitioner

">

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for:

  • ">
  • Developing and implementing engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.">
  • Monitoring children's progress, recording their achievements and developmental milestones.">
  • BUILDING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS with children and parents, ensuring effective communication.">
  • MAINTAINING A SAFE AND HYGIENIC ENVIRONMENT for children at all times.">
  • SUPPORTING CHILDREN'S EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING and providing comfort and encouragement when needed.">
  • COLLABORATING WITH THE TEAM to create a creative and stimulating learning environment.">

Qualifications and Experience

  • ">
  • You must hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or an equivalent qualification.">
  • Prior experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is desirable.">
  • Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and its application in a nursery setting.">
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and contributing to their development.">

Working Hours and Benefits

  • This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with working hours from 8 am to 4 pm.">
  • We offer a competitive salary package commensurate with experience and qualifications: £18,000 - £20,000 per annum (approximate hourly rate: £9.00).">
