About the Role

This Business Development and Framework Manager position is based in our Bristol office, working closely with the Pre-Construction Director in the Western region. The role involves identifying and shaping the future portfolio of projects, developing tender and negotiated opportunities, and providing support to the Pre-Construction team.

Responsibilities

  1. Market analysis and opportunity identification, ensuring alignment with the regional business plan and wider BAM Construct strategy.
  2. Databases maintenance and development, facilitating knowledge sharing and quick access to information.
  3. Market intelligence gathering, anticipation of customer needs, innovations, and competitor activities.
  4. PQQ/SQ requirement assistance, relationship management, and written responses/presentations throughout the project.
  5. Customer satisfaction surveys, lesson sharing, and driving continuous improvement.
  6. Corporate event planning and stakeholder engagement.
  7. Knowledge sharing through project databases.
  8. National and regional business development contributions.
  9. Relationship building and successful outcome achievement.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the construction industry, and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and stakeholders. In terms of qualifications, a degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or marketing, would be beneficial. The estimated salary for this position is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
