Job Description

As a Design Admin Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and communicating information between departments to ensure efficient workflow;
  • Managing customer visit notes, spreadsheets, and critical path reports;
  • Updating design number spreadsheets and allocating unique numbers;
  • Adding designs to the ERP system;
  • Collaborating with the archive and design team to maintain accurate customer reservations;

You will also be expected to:

  • Gather data for Critical Path reports and production plans;
  • Manage centre and legend approval from customers;
  • Oversee the logging, storing, and return of external archive documents;
  • Attend weekly design department and critical path meetings;
  • Populate design specification sheets for the quality and sales teams;
  • Raise purchase orders for the design and engraving departments;
  • Support quoting customers for design-related work and charging out through Sales Orders;

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong attention to detail;
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Aptitude for learning new software and skills quickly;
  • An interest in design or textiles (desirable).

Estimated salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on location and experience.
