About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Tyre Performance Engineer to join our team at Motorsport Network. As a key member of our Performance Function, you will be responsible for providing expert analysis of tyre performance data to inform vehicle setup and development decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert analysis of tyre performance data to inform vehicle setup and development decisions.
  2. Develop and maintain tyre analysis tools and processes to ensure accurate and efficient data extraction.
  3. Communicate tyre performance insights and recommendations to Vehicle Performance and Race Engineering teams.
  4. Collaborate with other groups within Performance, Race Engineering, and the wider Engineering Department to drive car development and optimise tyre performance.
  5. Travel to race events as required to support event operations and provide real-time data analysis.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in tyre performance analysis and vehicle modelling.
  • Strong data-driven analysis skills with the ability to extract meaningful insights from complex data sets.
  • Knowledge of trade-offs between tyre, mechanical, and aerodynamic setup.
  • Experience using MATLAB for analysis tool development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
