Public Health Officer

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health Officer or Food Safety Officer to join our Food and Business Regulation team in South Lanarkshire Council. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic organisation that values public health and safety.
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking food law inspections, health and safety inspections, accident investigations, dealing with complaints, infectious disease surveillance, caravan site licensing enforcement, responding to licensing consultations, and issuing export health certificates.
You will work closely with other teams to achieve our vision of having one of the strongest and most dynamic economies in Scotland.
Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 per annum
