Job Profile

The Public Relations Officer will play a key role in implementing communication strategies to enhance the reputation and public image of SLLC. This involves developing and executing effective communication plans, liaising with the communications team at South Lanarkshire Council in handling media relations, and engaging with key stakeholders to promote SLLC's objectives and initiatives.

About the Role

This is a permanent position within the Business Development Department, reporting to the Commercial Manager. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders. They will work closely with the Digital Officer to provide crisp and clear copy for the website and collate video content for use across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Implementing communication strategies to enhance the reputation and public image of SLLC.
  2. Liaising with the communications team at South Lanarkshire Council in handling media relations.
  3. Engaging with key stakeholders to promote SLLC's objectives and initiatives.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is between £39,235 - £40,093 per annum. As part of the marketing team, you will be entitled to up to 33 days annual leave, public holiday entitlement, occupational sick pay, family-friendly policies, employee discounts, and a range of benefits to support your well-being.
