We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Senior Residential Support Worker. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our young people and support them in achieving their full potential.

About the Role

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met. You will work closely with our team to create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes independence, self-esteem, and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized care and support to our young people, including personal care, medication management, and emotional support.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with our young people, their families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they are tailored to the individual needs of our young people.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operation of the home, including supervising staff and managing resources.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
  • Previous experience working in a residential childcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
