Special Education Needs Coordinator

About the Role
Five Education Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dedicated SENCo to join our client's team. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for leading the SEND provision across the school.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of the SEND policy and strategy
- Work closely with teachers and parents to create and review support plans
- Ensure all statutory requirements are met for children with SEND
- Liaise regularly with parents and keep them informed about their child's progress
- Deploy SEND staff and resources effectively to meet the needs of students
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SEND legislation and best practice
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- National Award for Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (NASENCO)
Salary
The salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
