Job Description

SENCo Opportunity

Five Education Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced SENCo to lead our SEND provision in East London. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for ensuring all statutory requirements are met for children with SEND.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead SEND provision across the school
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure effective deployment of SEND staff and resources
  • Evaluate SEND staff performance and provide feedback
  • Keep up to date with the latest SEND legislation and ensure compliance
  • Lead Annual Review meetings and create and review support plans with teachers and parents

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • National Award for Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (NASENCO)

Desirable Criteria:

  • Previous experience working in a leadership team
