Job Title: Care and Compassion Specialist for Children

About the Job: We are seeking to recruit a Care and Compassion Specialist for Children to provide a holistic nursing service offering psychosocial support to parents and children with life-limiting conditions and those in the terminal phase of their lives. The successful candidate will work autonomously and act independently within our policy, procedures, and guidelines.

Main Duties:

  • Ensure that the Children's Community Nurses and Palliative Care Nurses provide a holistic nursing service.
  • Provide psychosocial support to parents and children with life-limiting conditions.

We deliver over 100 clinical services, out in people's homes and in over 200 healthcare settings for adults, children, people with learning disabilities, those with rehabilitation needs, and also dental services. Requirements:

  • Driving Licence and Access to Vehicle.
  • Without justifiable acknowledgement, no gaps in employment and/or no period of time not in healthcare over 18 months.

Disclosure and Barring Service Check: This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
