We are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our established Children's Palliative Care Nursing Service. Our team delivers high-quality, holistic care to children and young people with life-threatening or limiting conditions, focusing on quality of life and supporting families through the palliative care journey.

The successful candidate will provide professional support to the Children's Community Nursing service and Rapid Response Teams, working alongside other Specialist Nursing Services. As part of the palliative care nursing team, you will participate in on-call to provide end-of-life care to children and young people requiring it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, child-centred care to children and young people with life-threatening or limiting conditions
  • Support families to meet their social, emotional, practical, and nursing needs
  • Work collaboratively with other Specialist Nursing Services to provide comprehensive care
  • Participate in on-call to provide end-of-life care to children and young people requiring it

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in caring for children with life-threatening or limiting conditions
  • Passion for palliative care and commitment to delivering high-quality care
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
