About the Role

This is a busy and varied position providing administrative support on a range of tasks, significantly contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the service. You will support payroll administration, inputting timesheet information and liaise with the Payroll team to resolve queries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing data and generating reports within agreed timescales.
  • Greeting visitors to the service, ensuring they are warmly welcomed and assisted during their visit.
  • Dealing with inquiries by phone and email.
  • Supporting with staff recruitment and induction.
  • Maintaining customer plans and staff files, including sickness and absence records.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing post, processing orders and handling invoices.
  • Supervising an Admin Assistant (where required).

Requirements:

  • A good standard of general education with good basic levels of numeracy, reading and writing in English.
  • Experience of working with administrative systems and procedures.
  • A great telephone manner and excellent written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work in accordance with the needs of the service.
