Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse to join our Theatre team. As a key member of the team, you will provide support for orthopaedic procedures, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament surgeries.

Your Key Responsibilities

">
  • Provide scrub nursing support for orthopaedic procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and safe operating environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development, enhancing skills and knowledge in surgical first assistance.

Requirements

">
  • NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
  • Experience in surgical scrub nursing, preferably in orthopaedics.
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) or willingness to pursue it.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A warm, considerate, and empathetic character.
