Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner. As a Trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in providing high-quality psychological wellbeing services to individuals across the adult age range.

About the Role

This is a full-time trainee position, where you will attend university one day a week and work in our service the remaining 4 days a week. You will be employed in an IAPT psychological treatment service and will receive a salary from the London IAPT service. The training course fees are fully funded by the NHS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with individuals across the adult age range to provide psychological wellbeing services
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development of our service and its goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience of working with people with psychological, interpersonal, or social problems
  • Aptitude to study at postgraduate level, either through degree-level education or demonstration of academic equivalence
  • Some experience, in a paid or voluntary capacity, with people struggling with their mental health
