About the Job:

Simply Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to support our Nursery Schools in their mission to provide high-quality education to young children. This role involves assisting in the development and learning of children, helping them reach their full potential through play-based activities and holistic development.

The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education, knowledge of the EYFS framework, and strong communication skills. They will be able to assist in planning and implementing play-based learning activities that promote children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Assisting in Planning and Implementation: Assist in planning and implementing play-based learning activities that promote children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  2. Supporting Children's Developmental Milestones: Support children in reaching developmental milestones through individualized support and targeted interventions.
  3. Fostering Social-Emotional Development: Encourage social-emotional development and positive interactions among children through play-based activities and group work.
  4. Developing Fine and Gross Motor Skills: Help develop children's fine motor skills and gross motor skills through engaging activities such as arts and crafts, music, and movement.
  5. Supporting Language Acquisition and Literacy Development: Support language acquisition and early literacy development through read-aloud sessions, phonics, and writing activities.
  6. Engaging Children in Sensory Play: Engage children in sensory play and creative play that promotes exploration and discovery.
  7. Supervising Outdoor Learning Activities: Supervise outdoor learning activities ensuring a safe learning environment that promotes children's physical activity and well-being.
  8. Fostering Phonemic Awareness and School Readiness: Foster phonemic awareness and school readiness through targeted interventions and play-based activities.
  9. Providing Individualized Support: Provide individualized support to children with diverse needs in an inclusive education setting that promotes equity and access.
  10. Collaborating with Teachers and Parents: Collaborate with teachers and parents to support child-centered approaches and holistic development that promotes children's overall well-being.
  11. Monitoring and Recording Progress: Monitor and record children's progress through observation and assessment that informs teaching practices and supports children's learning.
Compensation and Benefits:

The salary for this position is £12.50 per hour, paid weekly. This competitive rate reflects the importance of the role in supporting the development and learning of young children.
