SENCO Support Assistant

About the Role:
The Austin Fraser team is looking for a skilled SENCO Support Assistant to join our team in Southwark. As a key member of the SEND department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective delivery of SEND services and supporting students with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the SENCo with administrative tasks, including IEPs and SEND documentation
- Coordinate communication between staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure seamless SEND provision
- Support the SENCo with organising SEND meetings and preparing reports
- Help with scheduling SEND support sessions and allocating resources
Requirements:
- Proven administrative experience, preferably in an educational or SEND setting
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Knowledge of SEND legislation and best practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum, dependent on experience
