Job Title: Lead Physiotherapist Orthopaedics

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Physiotherapist to join our Orthopaedic team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with orthopaedic conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of physiotherapy services for orthopaedic patients, ensuring evidence-based practice and quality assurance.
  • Supervise and mentor physiotherapy staff, promoting professional development and excellence in practice.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and service development, ensuring alignment with Trust objectives and national initiatives.
  • Represent physiotherapy at relevant networks and forums, promoting the profession and influencing policy.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate qualification in physiotherapy and significant experience in orthopaedic physiotherapy.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the service.
