Job Title: Lead Physiotherapist Orthopaedics

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Physiotherapist to join our Orthopaedic team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with orthopaedic conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of physiotherapists to deliver evidence-based practice and quality assurance.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and development of the Orthopaedic physiotherapy service.
  • Supervise and participate in evidence-based projects to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
  • Represent physiotherapy at relevant networks and forums within the Trust and the NHS.
  • Liaise with Adult Critical Care team leaders to ensure seamless provision of critical care services.
Requirements:
  • Advanced clinical skills and knowledge in orthopaedic physiotherapy.
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Highly developed dexterity, co-ordination and palpatory sensory skills.
