Hospital Kitchen Supervisor Job Description
Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering & Beverage Team Leader to supervise the daily operations of our hospital kitchens. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality services and want to make a difference in the lives of patients and staff.

The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience in a similar environment, with excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills. They must be able to lead a team, work under pressure, and on own initiative. The role requires basic knowledge of Health and Safety, as well as Computer literacy (Word, email, Internet).

Key Responsibilities:
- To monitor and maintain consistent food standards and quality across all Derwent wards during all stages of production.
- Ensure that quality control measures and hygiene systems are achieved at all times.
- Participate in the HACCP procedure in accordance with the Trust's Food Safety Policy.
- Have accountability for the day-to-day running of the kitchen service.
- Monitor stock control, ensuring that stock rotation and use by dates for the production of food are followed.
- Responsible for the correct recording and disposal of all food waste.

The salary for this position is approximately £30,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
