About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Social Care Educator to join our team at The Bedford College Group.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education and training to students, contributing to the development of innovative teaching methods, and promoting student success.

Job Description

As a Lecturer in Health and Social Care, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing, delivering, assessing, and verifying subject specialisms on a range of courses and levels.
  • Supporting and guiding students to achieve success and realise their potential.
  • Managing students' learning and providing a high-quality learning experience.
  • Contributing proactively to developments in the Centre in curriculum development and innovative teaching.
  • Participating in marketing and promotion activities to support a range of programmes and learning opportunities.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Certificate in Education or willingness to work towards.
  • A Heath and Social Care related qualification at Level 3 and above or equivalent in a related subject area.
  • English and mathematics or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent.
  • Vocational experience in Health and Social care.
  • Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and work effectively to deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and confidently face-to-face, on the telephone, and in writing.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary for this role is £31,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
