About the Role
The Ecological Restoration Fund-1 (ERF-1) is a leading environmental charity based in the UK, dedicated to promoting ecological protection and restoration worldwide. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as Director of Sustainable Development, responsible for developing and implementing sustainable development strategies that drive positive change in local communities.
This exciting opportunity will involve leading the development of innovative solutions that balance ecological, social, and economic considerations. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of sustainable development principles and practices, as well as strong leadership and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of sustainable development strategies that align with ERF-1's mission and goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for sustainable development.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, including government agencies, NGOs, and community groups.
Requirements:
- Possess a postgraduate degree in a relevant field or equivalent level of knowledge acquired through experience or research.
- At least 5 years of experience in sustainable development, environmental management, or a related field.
- Demonstrate expertise in sustainable development principles and practices, including the ability to analyze complex systems and develop effective solutions.
- Proven track record of leadership and collaboration, with experience working across different cultures and contexts.
Salary Range: £65,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
