We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Visitor to join our team as a Senior Practitioner. As a key member of our Health Visiting Team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme, working closely with partner agencies to identify and protect vulnerable children.
As a Senior Practitioner, you will be responsible for leading and managing teams, developing policy and service development plans, and managing health-related projects and complex caseloads. You will also be expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of National Service Frameworks and NICE guidance, as well as the ability to develop effective partnerships to achieve practical outcomes across organisational boundaries.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing teams to deliver high-quality health visiting services
- Developing and implementing policy and service development plans
- Managing health-related projects and complex caseloads
- Working closely with partner agencies to identify and protect vulnerable children
- Developing effective partnerships to achieve practical outcomes across organisational boundaries
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in health visiting, excellent leadership and management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Requirements
- Registered health care professional (NMC registration) with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a public health environment
- Health-related degree and evidence of relevant postgraduate development at Level 6
- Mentorship or Practice Assessor qualification
- Evidence of Postgraduate Specialist qualifications relevant to area of practice (SCPHN qualification)
