At King's College Hospital, we are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to lead our team and oversee the delivery of occupational therapy services to older adults.

Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and busy teaching trust, providing high-quality care to patients with complex health needs. As a senior occupational therapist, you will be responsible for managing a team of therapists and developing strategies to improve patient outcomes.

You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, ensuring that patients receive the best possible support to achieve their goals. Your expertise in occupational therapy will enable you to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions to promote independence and well-being.

Main Duties
  • Lead a team of occupational therapists to deliver high-quality care to patients with complex health needs
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and service development
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care
Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working in a senior role in occupational therapy
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
