About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Growth Strategist to join our team, driving new business growth by building strong relationships with industry leaders and identifying opportunities for expansion. You will lead strategic sales efforts, support the business development team, and ensure our sector solutions achieve success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities within target sectors, managing the sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling sales propositions aligned with client needs and industry trends.
- Maintain and expand relationships with clients, industry leaders, and partners, positioning Sword Group as a trusted partner.
- Support and mentor the business development team, enhancing their contribution to the company's success.
Requirements
- Proven experience in complex new-business software/IT sales, ideally within the sector market.
- Excellent commercial awareness and a proven ability to develop and close complex sales opportunities.
- Confidence in influencing decision-makers, developing creative solutions, and navigating complex business environments.
- Excellent relationship management skills, able to inspire confidence in clients and partners alike.
- Expertise in structured sales methodologies (Solution Selling, SPIN, Strategic Selling, Power Base, and MADKAM), with a results-driven mindset.
