Job Title: Female Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team at SMB Associates Ltd.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents, providing person-centered care and support to enable them to maintain their independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care provision for residents, ensuring their assessed needs are met in line with their care plan.
  • Administer and store prescribed medication in accordance with legislation.
  • Assist residents with personal care, mobility, and feeding, as needed.
  • Oversee meal preparation and serving, ensuring a well-balanced diet for each resident.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to update care plans and provide relevant information about residents.
  • Report any accidents or incidents to senior staff, and be aware of Safeguarding Adults at Risk policies.
  • Attend regular supervision meetings with your line manager and follow reasonable instructions.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and reliability, with a willingness to attend training and maintain high operational standards.
  • High degree of confidentiality and discretion.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Awareness of CQC requirements and a relevant Health and Social Care qualification.
