Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team at Unsted Park School & 6th Form. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our young people.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a specialist residential and day school/6th form college for children and young people with higher functioning autism. Our school is committed to providing a safe, positive environment that enables each individual to achieve their maximum potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate care and support to our young people, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Support our young people in their daily lives, including education, leisure activities, and personal care.
  • Act as a positive role model, promoting positive behavior and attitudes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our school's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Previous experience of working in a special needs environment is desirable.
  • NVQ3 or L4 Diploma in relevant Care/Children & Young People related area (or willing to work towards this qualification).
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a close team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and support to our young people.
