  • Job Role Overview

This role is part of the Sunderland Care and Support team, focusing on safeguarding and providing support to vulnerable adults. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to ensure high standards of customer care and adherence to safeguarding policies.

  • Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide high-quality support and care to vulnerable adults, promoting choice, control, and empowerment.
  2. Work collaboratively with the team to assess, coordinate, and provide personal or practical interventions to meet individual needs.
  3. Develop and implement care and support plans to effectively support customers.
  4. Assess and respond to safeguarding concerns, adhering to the organization's safeguarding policy and procedure.
  5. Maintain effective working relationships with individuals, families, colleagues, and partner organizations.
  6. Develop and mentor colleagues, apprentices, and those on placement to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Requirements and Qualifications
  • Level 3 QCF Health and Social Care or equivalent, or the ability to complete within 2 years of commencement in post.
  • English and Maths Functional Skills at level 1 or equivalent.
