The Job You'll Do

  • Conduct thorough inspections of finished products using advanced equipment such as Verniers, micrometers, and CMM or FARO.
  • Patrol inspection of processes and product quality to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Inspect goods in, including review of EN 10204 3.1 mill certification, and goods out, sub contract work, and all purchased parts.
  • Verify that all products meet requirements before release.
  • Perform in-process and finished goods inspections, logging direct activities onto the ERP system.
  • Communicate quality failures to relevant departments and managers.
  • Conduct process auditing and undertake First Article Inspection Reports activities in accordance with internal processes.
  • Calibrate measuring equipment to ensure accuracy.
  • Support the supply chain to both internal and external customers.
  • Sign first and last inspection reports.
  • Report non-conforming parts and ensure containment is completed.
  • Ensure zero defects reach the end user.
  • Maintain the highest standards of quality in all work.

About You

  • Participate in the performance management system and maintain a personal development plan.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of all information processed during the course of employment in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998 and any subsequent legislative revisions and additions.
  • Be aware of personal responsibilities under Health and Safety regulations and attend appropriate training.
  • Maintain Health and Safety focused projects.
  • Co-operate with risk assessments and ensure that risks are identified and reported as they arise and attend appropriate training.
  • Be aware of and adhere to policies and procedures applicable to the role.
  • Perform any reasonable duty which lies within the boundaries of your capability.
  • Comply with any and all reasonable requests made by management.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of all confidential information, this will require knowledge and adherence to the company rules on confidentiality, customers and supplier non-disclosure agreements, Export Control Regulations, ITAR requirements and all other such requirements in accordance with Company policies and procedures, the Data Protection Act 1998 and any subsequent legislative revisions and additions.
