We are on the brink of a bold new era at our flagship hotel, with a Grade II-listed building on the cusp of Park Lane undergoing a sensitive refresh by architects Holland Harvey. Interiors are being rejuvenated by Studio Mica and Studio Est, and we have added a new signature restaurant helmed by a world-famous chef, alongside a dapper lounge and bar. Communal areas, bedrooms, and suites have all been artfully redesigned, and our spa and Grand Ballroom will re-emerge as modern icons.

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Handyman to join our team at Montcalm Collection. As a Handyman, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our properties and delivering exceptional customer care. You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance work promptly and to the highest standards, following all company statutory and legal regulatory requirements during repairs.

Key Responsibilities

· As a Handyman, you will be responsible for implementing company statutory and legal requirements, including fire, health, and safety, hygiene, electricity at work, and all local by-laws.

· You will respond to all enquiries promptly and follow planned preventative maintenance programmes.

· You will ensure good relationships with internal and external customers and contractors, and follow C.O.S.H.H regulations, particularly the storage of hazardous substances.

· You will carry out routine inspections and maintenance of property assets when required to the appropriate standard and ensure that timetables in place are met.

· You will support the recording of accurate utility costs by recording meter readings and monitor daily usage.
