Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Perioperative Scrub Nursing Professional to join our team at The Alexandra Hospital. This role involves working closely with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient operating process.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in patient positioning and preparation, controlling cross-infection, and preparing patients for clinical/operative procedures. They will also be expected to observe and adhere to departmental policies and protocols.

  • Work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure efficient operating processes.
  • Assist in the positioning and preparation of patients as directed by the surgical team.
  • Control cross-infection by observing departmental policy regarding dress, cleanliness, decontamination, and sterilisation procedures.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have HCPC registration, relevant experience in perioperative nursing, and excellent communication skills. A strong understanding of infection control and patient safety protocols is also essential.
