Job Summary:

This full-time position involves gym supervision, leading group exercise classes, fitness suite inductions, assisting with sports set-ups and de-rigs, and sports centre reception duties. The ideal candidate will possess good customer care skills, be able to handle customer enquiries, and work effectively as part of a team.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Gym Supervision: Oversee the safe and efficient use of sports facilities, ensuring a positive experience for customers.
  • Group Exercise Classes: Lead high-energy fitness sessions, promoting physical activity and well-being among participants.
  • Fitness Suite Inductions: Provide informative briefings on equipment usage and facility rules.
  • Sports Set-Ups and De-rigs: Assist with event preparations and post-event clean-ups, maintaining a smooth operational flow.
  • Sports Centre Reception Duties: Greet customers, answer queries, and provide excellent customer service.


Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • A Level 2 Fitness Instruction qualification.
  • Experience of leading group exercise classes (advantageous) or willingness to achieve within three months.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups.
  • A flexible approach to meet shift working patterns (Monday-Sunday, 6:15am-10:30pm).
  • Basic clerical and IT skills.
  • A commitment to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
