**Job Description:**

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a skilled Special Needs Assistant to join a vibrant and dynamic secondary school in North London. The school has an experienced leadership team and a busy, supportive atmosphere. As a Special Needs Assistant, you will work with students who have a range of special needs, including Autism. Your role will involve developing social skills with students in the classroom and at breaktime, as well as supporting behaviour and working with students to develop strategies to manage challenging situations.

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience working with children with special needs, particularly those with Autism. You will be a reliable and engaging role model who can offer strategies and approaches to help students deal with challenging situations. The school is looking for someone who is committed to integrating support staff fully into the team and is willing to take on mainstream TA work and lunch duties.
