Language Empire, a leading provider of interpreting and translation services, is seeking a professional interpreter to join their team. The successful candidate will work on a freelance basis, providing high-quality interpretation services to clients across various sectors.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and another language, with formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or a degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages. They must also have the right to work in the UK and be aged 21 or over.

As a freelance interpreter, you will have the flexibility to choose your own schedule and work from the comfort of your own home. You will be responsible for interpreting for people using legal, health, and local government services, checking the non-English speakers' understanding after each sentence, and liaising between the service user and service provider.

Salary: £25-35 per hour

We offer ongoing help and support from our dedicated in-house team, continuous professional development, and the opportunity to work on a variety of assignments.

The estimated salary for this role is based on an average of £30 per hour, with opportunities to earn more depending on the number of assignments completed.
