Head of Estates

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Estates Department as the Head of Estates. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and ambitious individual with outstanding leadership and planning skills to drive the department's strategy, operations, and compliance.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement estate strategies that align with the organisation's vision and values.
  • Lead the Estates Teams to support the development of a new estates and sustainability strategy.
  • Ensure the estate is developed and managed in a sustainable manner, achieving continual improvement in environmental performance.
  • Set and maintain clear performance standards and targets, inspiring and leading the Estates staff and managers.

What You'll Need

  • A professionally qualified member of RICS or equivalent with senior management experience in large organisation estates.
  • Experience of delivering and reporting within key regulatory frameworks, including procurement, health and safety, planning, property, and construction legislation.
  • Able to successfully manage complex large-scale projects, analyse problems, and balance conflicting priorities to devise solutions.

  • Competitive salary: £60,000 per annum.
  • 31 days holiday (including Bank holidays), rising to 34 after each full year of service.
