We are looking for an experienced and flexible Assistant Cook to join our catering team at Folkestone Girls School.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Catering Manager to prepare and cook meals for students and staff, focusing on the desserts section of the menu.

Job Description
  1. Prepare and cook meals for students and staff in accordance with school menus and nutritional guidelines.
  2. Develop and implement creative ideas for new recipes and menu items.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient service and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.

This is a term-time only position plus 5 staff training days per annum, working 39 weeks p.a.

Salary: £24,040 - £25,002 FTE (£20,769 - £21,600 pro rata), negotiable depending on experience.
