Job Summary:
Scantec Recruitment is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our manufacturing staff, ensuring accurate stock control and inventory management, and implementing quality control measures.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of manufacturing staff to ensure efficient production and high-quality products.
- Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to minimize stock discrepancies and optimize inventory levels.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks to meet customer demands.
- Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Identify and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment to ensure the well-being of employees and the quality of products.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of stock control and inventory management principles and practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide team members.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience in using inventory management software to track and analyze inventory levels.
