Manufacturing Process Engineer

Scantec is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to support the design, launch, and optimisation of manufacturing processes. This role will play a pivotal part in championing the industrialisation of equipment and ensuring that all key control documentation aligns with customer needs and business requirements.
The Job:- Develop Standard Manufacturing Methods to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Define equipment specifications for new equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Lead the industrialisation process to drive standardisation across the business.
- Manage key documentation, including Process Flow, WI, and PFMEA, to ensure compliance and quality.
- Modify, design, and test manufacturing methods and equipment to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve flow.
- Produce detailed product and process reports to inform business decisions.
- Strong time management skills with a target-driven approach.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using problem-solving tools and working with stakeholders to deliver solutions.
- Excellent MS Office skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
- Hands-on approach with keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience in Lean manufacturing principles.
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities, with a flexible mindset.
- Ability to create and deliver training materials.
- Required: A relevant Engineering degree (or equivalent industrial experience).
