Job Description

Lloyd's of London is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Risk Manager to join our team. As a key member of our risk management function, you will play a critical role in developing and executing our global risk framework, ensuring that our key risks are well understood and appropriately managed within our risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Risk Strategy and Leadership
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks and ensure alignment with our risk appetite.
  • Provide risk management leadership and guidance to our teams to ensure effective risk management practices.
Risk Framework, Processes, and Systems
  • Develop and maintain our global risk framework, including risk and control self-assessment, risk incident reporting, risk appetite reporting, emerging risk reporting, and stress and scenario testing.
  • Lead the development and operation of our risk management system and reporting tools.
Risk Culture, Awareness, and Engagement
  • Develop and maintain our risk appetite framework, regularly reporting to senior management on our risk appetite position and ensuring that risk appetites are considered and embedded in decision-making.
  • Lead thematic reviews on key risk topics and develop and maintain our risk management system and reporting tools.
Reporting and Governance
  • Ensure the effective operation of our risk governance structure, liaising with our Secretariat to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of our risk committees.
  • Produce high-quality regular and ad hoc reporting to our risk committees, enabling them to effectively discharge their responsibilities.
Requirements
  1. Experience
  • Proven experience in risk management, with a strong understanding of risk management frameworks, tools, and processes.
  • Experience working as part of a high-performing team to deliver successful risk management outcomes.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks and processes.
  • Ability to design and deliver leading risk management tools tailored to our unique business model and satisfying regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and other stakeholders.
