CorEnergy, a Sureserve Group company, is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join their team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial management and quantity surveying, with experience working on live projects from commencement to completion.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading provider of decarbonisation solutions, supporting clients across various sectors, including commercial, industrial, leisure, and agriculture. As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will lead commercial activities, reviewing new contracts and producing contracts as required. Your expertise will ensure accurate project cost estimation and negotiation, resulting in commercially competitive proposals.

You will also be responsible for examining and paying sub-sub-contractor accounts, settling variation accounts, and issuing sub-contract notices as necessary. Additionally, you will analyse sub-contract tenders to prepare formats for valuation applications and monitor performance against project cost/value, making recommendations and implementing agreed actions.

The successful candidate will possess a HNC/HND or equivalent in quantity surveying and/or commercial management, or a relevant MEP trade conversion. A CSCS Card and good knowledge of commercial contracts (including JCT and NEC) are essential. Experience operating both JCT and NEC contracts, including Target Cost projects, is highly desirable.
