About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Wellbeing Manager to join our team at the Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS. As a key member of our Personalised Cancer Care Team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional cancer information and support services to patients and their families.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the Macmillan health and wellbeing service, ensuring it meets the needs of our patients and families.
- Collaborate with the Personalised Cancer Care Programme Lead to support the delivery of holistic needs assessments and develop health and wellbeing events.
- Design and deliver a range of health and wellbeing sessions and information in various formats, including written, virtual, one-to-one, and group settings.
- Oversee the quality of cancer information produced in-house by the oncology and haematology teams.
- Line manage the complementary therapy team and benefits advisor.
